The nonprofit is a worldwide organization, spanning 120 cities herve leger on sale and 13 countries, which was designed to help women obtain and maintain careers with the help of otherwise unattainable business suits. The company was founded in 2003 by Nancy Lublin. It started in New York in with only $5,000, and grew to 20 DFS programs by 1998. A year later there were 50 programs, and the company continues to grow. 
The theme brought awareness to the advantages of cotton as a staple of everyday fashion. It also tested the design capabilities of N.C State students in the College of Textiles. The show was funded by a grant from Cotton Inc.
The N.C. State College of Textiles and Dress For Success Triangle NC teamed up to host a fundraising fashion show at the McKimmon Center Wednesday cheap herve leger dresses night.
At Cotton First, N.C. State students competed in a fashion show to benefit the Triangle branch of Dress For Success. The company is a nonprofit organization, which helps women get jobs by “providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life,” according to their website. DFS specializes in supplying disadvantaged women with stylish, donated clothing; image coaches for interviews; mock interviews; and networking opportunities, according to Executive Director at DFS Triangle NC, Debbi Fox-Davis.
“We are modeling self sufficiency to young children,” Fox-Davis said. “When women are empowered, everyone benefits.”
She also said the organization is a way to provide encouragement and a job to struggling women, while encouraging them to get involved in the community. More than 1,000 herve leger skirt clothing items are donated at DFS donation drives, with 99 percent of employees being volunteers, according to Fox-Davis.
